It's been 3 weeks since I ate here, I still miss the food. The service is excellent, the servers and the owner/bar keep are so friendly and patient. The food is remarkable, every single thing we tried was delicious. You can tell the chef is passionate and puts his heart into curating the dishes. I couldn't believe the kitchen was a team of 3, and they still did such a fabulous job. They even have a vegetarian menu, and they attend to customizations. See pics with descriptions to know what we ate. The restaurant was packed, they had blocked some tables for social distancing. The servers wore masks. I don't prefer eating in but since this was a pit stop on our drive didn't have the option, but I'm sooo glad we stopped here as it was definitely worth it.
This is one of classiest restaurants in town. The atmosphere made me not feel “rush, rush.” I felt like I was welcome to come sit, eat, drink, socialize, truly enjoy the experience and soak up the atmosphere. The bread is to die for. The hummus appetizer was delicious and I loved my Caesar salad. My wife loved her portobello (bleeeeck, to me LOL) mushroom, purple roasted potatoes (which I loved) and asparagus entree! By the way, Beth is a top notch server. Attentive, thoughtful and so friendly! Definitely ask for her! The dessert she recommended of the Caramel and Rasberry Bread pudding was yummy!!! Definitely an A+ experience for us!
Wow! This is the best food in Cleveland we have ever had. I hope this place stays open. Our server Issac was the sweetest and the food was absolutely perfect. Don’t skip out on the drink specials either. I don’t normally do reviews but this place deserved one.
Excellent service, really nice restaurant, cozy but a bit noisy. Food was terrific and portions generous. I felt the prices and tge portions made it a good value for a restaurant of this high quality, the calamari appetizer would make a great meal by itself.

If you are looking for a cozy restaurant that serves delicious food with a vibrant atmosphere, Cafe Roma checks off all of those boxes. This was our second visit to this downtown eatery, this time with some good friends. I really enjoy dining here. It’s a special place to eat and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg to do so. Everything from the exposed brick, to the linen tablecloths and subtle music in the background, really creates a welcoming atmosphere. The food is excellent. My wife had the salmon and I chose the Corvina. The food was hot and presented very well. They have an inviting dessert menu and it’s worth an extra few calories. The service is excellent and our waitress was well-versed in the house specials and how they were prepared. If you are looking to have a dinner with that someone special or a night out with friends, try this place. I highly recommend. It’s one of my exceptional places for dinner.
An absolute gem! Well worth the drive. Walking through the door into another era. Beautifully set tables, a warm old world feel with Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, and others singing the classics. Just a fantastic vibe. We were warmly greeted by Annie a very knowledgeable and capable young lady. We started with her suggestions and were not disappointed in the least. The Fritto misto was an exceptional mix of calamari, shrimp, and salmon bites with 2 house made dipping sauces. Very lightly coated and fried to perfection. The made in house garlic infused olive oil and focaccia bread was a tasty treat. Ravioli with a delightful addition of meatballs was wonderful and the chef special this night was a red fish filet served on toasted polenta with asparagus. Seared and seasoned to perfection. The dessert menu sounded delectable, but we were to full to give it a go. Don't miss Cafe Roma! In business over 20 years we will be back again and again.
